Focus and Scope

The Alexandrian accepts manuscripts pertaining to the subjects of history and philosophy written by Troy University students, staff, and faculty.  Accepted forms include book reviews, historiographical articles, articles, and essays.

Peer Review Process

Submissions will be reviewed by the Alexandrian's Selection Board and journal editors.

Publication Frequency

The Alexandrian will be published yearly in March, beginning in 2012.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal was established in 2011 by the students of the Iota Mu chapter of Phi Alpha Theta at Troy University in honor of Professor Nathan Alexander.
